Stadsstrand Hoorn. Het stadsstrand van Hoorn ligt prachtig aan het Markermeer aan de rand van de stad. In mei 2023 is het eerste deel van het strand opgeleverd en in 2024 is het hele strand klaar. Het recreatiegebied beslaat dan ruim twintig hectaren en is voorzien van horeca, fiets- en wandelpaden en uitzicht op stad en water. Onder Downloads.

At its peak, the Hoorn cheese market saw some 3,000,000 kilograms (6,600,000 lb) of cheese being traded per year. The market, however, eventually was discontinued in the 20th century.
